It aims at strengthening civil society through bionegocios in order to allow local population to participate in the sustainable management of the ecosystems of the protected natural area.

In order to achieve sustainable farming activity, AEDES promotes the use of agroecological techniques, rational use of water, conservation of agrodiversity and strengthening of groups of producers.

This area of work was created in 2006 in response to the strong demand from people in charge of irrigation.

The main activity in this area is to collect information in order to have an appropriate management of the biological diversity, e.g. strategies of conservation for endangered species.
