AEDES WAS ELECTED AS A FINALIST IN THE ANDEAN CONTEST ORGANIZED BY CAPRADE AND PREDECAN

The Andean Committee for the Prevention and Attention to Disasters-(CAPRADE) and the project “Support for Disaster’s Prevention in the Andean Community” (PREDECAN), have impulsed the implementation of strategies for the prevention and attention of disasters – EAPAD. They convene to institutions to present experiences in the Andean Contest:"Policies and Practices for Local Development in Disaster Risk situation: Identifying significant experience in countries of the Andean sub region" and in which were participants the counties of Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Bolivia, (in November 2007).

PARTICIPATION OF AEDES IN THE THIRD CONFERENCE OF GLOBAL KNOWLEDGE (GK3)

The third conference of Global Knowledge organized by the Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP) was the 11 to 13 of December of 2007 in Kuala Lumpur – Malasia with the participation of representatives of institutions and organizations from all the parts of the World whose meet in this event with the finality of learn, share and interchange all the efforts that are doing in order to create a world of equal opportunities for all the people, for to have access to the use of knowledge and the information for improving their life conditions.

CAMBIE AWARDS GIVEN TO AEDES FOR ITS CONTRIBUTION IN PLANNING ISSUES FOR PROMOTION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Last Tuesday 17th of 2007, the CAMBIE Foundation of the Southern Scientific University offered the ceremony of the Fifth Edition of the Environmental Conservation Awards. In this occasion, AEDES was one of the distinguished institutions. The Award corresponded to the category PROMOTION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, for its contribution in aspects of planning.
